The Lawrenceville basketball Indians keep rolling right along. They picked up their 18th win against only 1 loss with a 78-39 win Tuesday night over the Robinson Maroons at Lawrenceville.

The Maroons led 15-14 after one quarter, but the Tribe used solid outside shooting off the bench and a suffocating defense to hold the visitors to only 5 points in the second quarter while scoring 22 points offensively to take control at the half 35-19. They led 63-37 after three quarters and coasted to their fifth win in a row.

Jayden Goff led four Indians in double digits with 16 points, Jacek Mickiewicz added 13, Aiden Winningham had 11 off the bench, and Noah Wilson 10 as the Indians ran their Little Illini Conference (LIC) record to 5-0.

Robinson won the JV contest 47-36 over the Indians. Blayton Gossett scored 10 in the loss.

The top-ranked Indians are idle until Saturday when they open the 2026 LIC boy's tournament in a quarterfinal with the Paris Tigers at 1 p.m. at Robinson. The Indians are the defending tournament champions.
