The Lawrenceville Lady softball Indians are back in the win column after a solid 8-0-win Tuesday at Martinsville.
They scored 8 runs on 13 hits and made no errors while the Lady Bluestreaks were blanked on 2 hits and also made no errors.
Allison Evans led the Lawrenceville offense with 3 hits and an RBI while Alyssa Griggs added 2 hits and 2 RBI and Erin Harris and Annalise Green each had 2 hits.
Green picked up the pitching win in the circle, going all 7-shutout innings allowing no runs with 4 walks and 4 strikeouts.
The win improves the Lady Indians to 8-16 on the season with a rescheduled conference game at Paris Wednesday.
