The season came to a close Saturday for the Lawrenceville Lady Basketball Indians. They lost in the first round of their own Class 2A regional tournament on the road at Toledo (Cumberland) to the Lady Pirates 54-22. The Lady Indians finish the year at 6-20. Also Saturday in first round play, Marshall beat Oblong-Palestine-Hutsonville (OPH) 59-28. The regional semi-finals are Monday evening at Lawrenceville High School with Mt Carmel facing Toledo (Cumberland) at 6 p.m. and Teutopolis meets Marshall at 7:30 p.m. The winners play for the title Thursday at 7 p.m. also at LHS.
