It was a tough two-day Mt Carmel Thanksgiving Holiday Tournament for the Lawrenceville Lady basketball Indians.
They went 0-3 in the round-robin affair. On Friday, host Mt Carmel beat them 44-25 and then later in the afternoon, they were knocked off 47-32 by the Edwards County Lady Lions with Reagan Ivers leading the scoring with 12 points.
Saturday, the squad lost to Fairfield 53-43 with both Ivers and Addeline Sanders scoring 14 points each to lead the scoring. Congratulations to Sanders, who was named to the All-Tournament Team.
The Lady Indians are now 1-4 on the season and will play at Vincennes Lincoln Tuesday.
