Bella Larrison helped Anderson women’s basketball pin a rare conference loss on Transylvania.
The 7-time defending Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference champions fell to 9-3 this season and 4-1 in the HCAC standings Saturday with a 66-65 double-overtime loss in Anderson, Indiana.
Larrison, a Waldron graduate, finished with 20 points, eight rebounds, two steals and one block to get the Ravens back to .500 at 6-6 (2-3 HCAC).
The win also ended an 11-game losing streak to Transylvania dating back to 2021.
It was the third win of the week for Anderson.
On Dec. 30, the Ravens topped Illinois College, 79-73. Larrison had seven points, seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block.
On New Year’s Eve, Anderson traveled to Concordia College to secure a 57-52 victory. Larrison finished with six points, seven rebounds and three assists.

Olivia Faust
The Triton Central graduate had 16 points and three rebounds Saturday to help unbeaten Marian topple unbeaten Taylor, 82-68.
The Knights improved to 15-0 (5-0 Crossroads League) while Taylor dropped to 14-1 (4-1).
On Dec. 30, Faust finished with nine points, five rebounds, one assist and four steals in Marian’s 116-34 win over Ohio Christian University.

Emma Nelson
The Morristown graduate had four points, two rebounds, three assists and one steal Saturday for Marian Ancilla in a 71-62 win over College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
The Chargers improved to 7-4 this season.
