A Pulaski County suspect was caught after a search and foot pursuit.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office reported that it responded Sunday evening to a report of a man holding a victim at gunpoint. Deputies located the man and the firearm and had him in custody. But in the process of moving him to a vehicle he broke free and fled on foot at approximately 8:15 p.m.
Deputies were searching the town of Winamac for an African American male, who had handcuffs on in front of him.
It was later reported that the suspect had again been apprehended just before 11 p.m.
