Two people were reported injured in a train derailment early Wednesday morning in Gibson County, Indiana.
It occurred on a spur that serves the coal-fired Duke Energy Gibson Plant in Owensville.
A locomotive and several railcars left the tracks around 2 a.m. (CST) with both a Norfolk Southern engineer and conductor hurt in the mishap. They were both hospitalized.
The company also reports that crews were sent to the location to clean up a diesel spill from the locomotive.
An investigation is underway into the cause of the derailment.
