Rochester man arrested on charges of child molesting and possession of meth

A Rochester man is facing felony charges after being arrested for child molesting and possession of methamphetamine earlier this month. 

According to reports, Henry Baugh, 60 of Rochester was charged with facilitated by drugs or a controlled substance, a Level 2 Felony; child molesting, a Level 4 Felony; and dissemination of matter harmful to minors and possession of methamphetamine, both Level 6 Felonies. 

A probable cause affidavit states the crime was first reported on August  27, after Rochester Police officer received information about a child who had been sexually abused. The alleged victim was scheduled for a forensic interview with the Department of Child Services September 1, after a school counselor reported the incident. 

The child stated that they were tired of Baugh touching them in places they didn't like, which included their genitals and chest. The victim told the counselor they had not told anyone else about the abuse prior to the report. 

During the forensic interview, the child stated Baugh made them watch pornographic videos and also showed them his adult sex toys. The child was able to draw the sex toys and described the items to officials in great detail.

The victim further alleged Baugh had also blown smoke from a tube-like device into their face while he held them down on a bed at the residence multiple times. 

On September 2, a warrant was conducted at Baugh's home where officers seized his cell phone and evidence, which included the sex toys described by the child. During the search Baugh lead officers to where he kept the items. Police also discovered a clear smoking device that contained burnt residue that later tested positive for methamphetamine during the search. 

According to officers, Baugh claimed he had been clean from methamphetamine for approximately three months prior to the search. 

Baugh was arrested on September 2, and is currently being held at the Fulton County Jail. A pretrial conference is schedule for Baugh in the Fulton County Circuit Court on September 28.
