Plymouth Police received information Friday that Jessica Sheaks, 40, of Plymouth, had an active warrant through St. Joseph County.
Corporal McIntyre located Sheaks at her residence, took her into custody without incident, and transported her to the Marshall County Jail, where she is being held pending resolution of the St. Joseph County warrant.
In a separate incident on Friday morning, Officer Krynock stopped a vehicle at approximately 8:15 a.m. on U.S. 30 at Iris Road for a traffic infraction.

Bennett was taken into custody and lodged in the Marshall County Jail, where he awaits extradition to Ohio authorities.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
