A Rushville man has been charged with child exploitation and for possession of child sex abuse material.
James Laird, 25, was arrested following a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. A two-month investigation determined the account involved belonged to Laird.
A warrant was served at Laird's Rushville home. He was taken to the Rush County Jail on charges of Level 5 felony child exploitation (3 counts) and eight counts of Level 6 felony possession of child sex abuse material.
