This Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Wild Rose Moon will celebrate ten years of broadcasting these words to all of Michiana: “Where the Lincoln Highway and the Michigan Road cross the beautiful Yellow River, it's the Wild Rose Moon Radio Hour!”
George Schricker, director and host of the popular show, laughs, “I never grow tired of that line; it communicates my deep fondness for the special place that is Historic Downtown Plymouth, located in the beautiful Marshall County."
To commemorate the 10th anniversary, the Moon is opening its doors to the community, inviting everyone to learn about its history and the history of the building.
“We are grateful for all the community support that has enabled us to produce our new television program and grow our production house. We have big plans for the future, so stop by, enjoy some snacks, listen to original piano music by Michele Schricker, and take a tour of our performing arts center!”
At noon, Iris Fry of the Marshall County Museum will present a historical retrospective about all the businesses that have previously occupied the building since 1866.

Additionally, musician Tom Fry will play an original song he penned just for the ten-year celebration. “Tom is a Mississippi Delta Blues Stylist, so you’re in for a treat!”
The Moon and JGM Properties will also be recognizing the City of Plymouth, the Office of Community and Rural Affairs, and SRKM Architect, Brent Martin, for their support and participation in the building’s development.
