Marshall County Police arrested a Bourbon woman for battery to a household member.
On Wednesday, August 21st, at approximately 6:30 in the evening, a K-9 deputy with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was requested to respond to a residence in the 5,000 block of 9B Road about a domestic disturbance.
Deputy Blake Bennett initiated an investigation and determined that 51-year-old Norma Edington of 9B Road in Bourbon had battered a household member.
Edington was transported to Plymouth Hospital for jail clearance. After receiving jail clearance, the K-9 Deputy transported Edington to the Marshall County Jail, where she was booked for domestic battery with a $500 cash bond.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings, entitled to be represented by counsel, and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
