Waldron football did not allow a second-half score Saturday afternoon and improved to 2-0 with a 38-22 victory at Rock Creek Academy.
Troy Atwood rushed the ball 10 times for 102 yards and three touchdowns. Hunter Dodson and Walker Dodson combined for 17 more carries and 117 yards.
Walker Dodson was 4-for-11 passing for 64 yards and one touchdown, a 30-yard scoring strike to Atwood, who also had a forced fumble and an interception on defense.
Hunter Dodson and Walker Dodson each had a team-high five tackles. Atwood finished with four and Lawson Denison and Joey Worley each had three.
Waldron returns home this week on Saturday against Dugger Union. There will be Senior Night activities and a Homecoming celebration in conjunction with the 8-man football game that is slated to kick off at 7 p.m.
