The Fulton County Community Foundation invites the community to come together on Giving Tuesday, December 1, 2026, for a day of generosity, gratitude, and good company.

The Foundation office at 227 E. 9th Street in Rochester will welcome visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to celebrate and learn about the impact of local giving. A catered lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., giving friends, neighbors, and donors an opportunity to connect over food and fellowship.

GIANT fm 92.1 WROI  will broadcast live from the Foundation office from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Foundation will also present the 2026 Lifetime Philanthropy Award during lunch, honoring an individual whose generosity and leadership have made a lasting difference in Fulton County.

“Giving Tuesday provides us with the chance to celebrate the impact that donors’ gifts have made throughout the past year,” said Brian Johnson, Fulton County Community Foundation Director of Development. “You will not find a spot throughout the county that has not benefited as the result of community foundation grants.”

Any gift to a new or existing community fund will receive a $2 match for every $1 donated. This Giving Tuesday, the Foundation is also making it easier than ever to create a permanent charitable legacy. With Foundation support and matching funds, a gift of $1,500 can establish a fully endowed $5,000 community fund that will support Fulton County for generations to come.

Those who are unable to attend in person can still participate by calling 574.223.2227 to arrange a gift or donating online at www.nicf.org.
