Vincennes University (VU) has announced it has received a first of its kind faculty endowment gift from an Indiana couple
Ro and Charles "Shorty" Whittington from Columbus Indiana are long-time philanthropists who have supported 4-H youth and agriculture through scholarships for several decades. Their $750,000 gift to VU represents the first ever faculty fund endowment for the university and will be used to bolster faculty support and foster agricultural innovation at the school. The gift from the Whittington's Landmark Farm Foundation represents one of the largest individual donor gifts in recent years.
