A Crossville, Illinois man was the sole occupant of a truck found underwater in the Wabash River late last week.
The White County Sheriff's Department received information Friday about a truck spotted overturned in the Wabash River about one mile south of the New Harmony Bridge. Once on scene, it was determined that there was an occupant inside.
Dive teams from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and the city of Shawneetown were called in to aid in the recovery. The vehicle was removed from the river and the male subject discovered inside was identified as Robert Duvall.
No foul play is initially suspected.
The White County Coroner's Office says that an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death for Duvall will be scheduled.
