Lawrence County States Attorney Brady Waldrop has announced that 2 Lawrence County men were sentenced to prison recently in Lawrence County Circuit Court. 40 year old Cameron Jones of Bridgeport was sentenced to 4 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) on a charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class 4 Illinois Felony and up to 6 months of mandatory supervised release. 59 year old Richard Perry of Bridgeport was given 4 years in the IDOC along with up to 6 months of mandatory supervised release on a charge of Unlawful Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, a Class 3 Illinois Felony. Both men had been placed on felony probation, but violated the terms.
