Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. highlighted the near completion of a new auditorium, agricultural area, locker rooms and renovation of its pool and gym with an open house Sunday, Oct. 27.
The $31 million project was started in the spring of 2023, adding 44,908 square feet to the school and renovating an existing 37,222 square feet. TVSC Superintendent Blaine Conley said that the latest project would not only be beneficial to students and staff at TVSC, but also the community. The auditorium's first public event will happen Thursday, Nov. 7, for Valley's Got Talent Show. The event will start at 7 p.m. and is open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring $1 bills to vote for their favorite acts that evening.
Conley said he is happy to see how things have come together with the new addition and that the school district is already planning its next big project for a future new administration building that will be combined with a daycare, something Conley hopes to be started by next spring.
