A major system of storms rolled across southeastern Illinois and southwestern Indiana Thursday evening and overnight into Friday. Tornado warnings were issued for neighboring Wabash and Richland Counties and in Knox County Indiana as National Weather Service radar picked up circular rotation within the storms. Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued here in Lawrence County. Numerous trees and power lines were reported down across the region and the Lick Prarie Church in northeastern Wabash County received major extensive damage to it's roof. But, so far there have been no serious local injuries reported from the storm system.
