A Logansport man was seriously injured in a weekend motorcycle accident.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says the crash occurred about 5:30 p.m. Saturday on the southbound ramp from US 35 to US 24. The preliminary investigation shows that Seth Rance, 27, was southbound on a 2004 Suzuki and exited onto the ramp to US 24. From there, the motorcycle went off the west side of the ramp and Rance and the motorcycle came to rest in the ditch.
A Lutheran medical helicopter was requested and transported Rance to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Rance was not wearing a helmet.
