Friday's boys basketball sectional semifinals at Edinburgh will be played tonight after a threat investigation at the schools.
The Edinburgh Police Department was notified of a potential threat to the elementary school building. A thorough search of the elementary and secondary school buildings found no evidence of any ongoing threat.
Edinburgh officials say the decision was made to continue with tonight's sectional semifinals, Waldron - North Decatur and Edinburgh - South Decatur, after the grounds were deemed to be safe. An increased police presence is planned to be on campus for tonight's games.
