Plymouth Police and EMS were dispatched to 2550 North Michigan Street, the Red Rock Inn, at 12:20 a.m. on Thursday, January 2nd, for a medical call.
When Plymouth officers arrived on the scene, they witnessed an intoxicated female force entry into another motel resident's room. As officers attempted to take the female into custody, she resisted their efforts.
Christine Powers, 50, who resides at the Red Rock Inn, was eventually taken into custody without injury and transported to the Marshall County Jail. Powers was booked in for initial charges of residential entry as a level 6 felony, resisting law enforcement as an A misdemeanor, and public intoxication as a B misdemeanor.
Christine Powers was given a court date in Marshall Superior Court III and a $1,500 cash bond.
