The agenda includes awarding the bids for the chillers at Menominee and Washington Discovery, plus the electrical gear replacement at PHS. The school board will recognize the PHS Robotics Team and receive the annual update on Riverside Intermediate School. Members will also consider additions and revisions for the student handbook and the MOU with the Plymouth Police Department for the school resource officers. And
With Superintendent Mitch Mawhorter retiring at the end of this school year, the search for a new superintendent is on. The School Board will consider a resolution regarding the search for a superintendent, adopt a revised resolution deleting the 7-day waiting period for hiring a superintendent, adjust the policy manual for the employment of the superintendent, and consider a resolution regarding Mawhoter’s outgoing contract.
