A $16,000 transfer was unanimously approved for Plymouth Cemetery Superintendent Mike Collins at this week’s Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.
Collins plans to update the cemetery location system, Pontem, this year and budgeted for the project. However, he learned that a GIS option was available for the public to locate graves in Oak Hill Cemetery. He was seeking additional funding for the GIS portion of the project.
The Board of Public Works and Safety approved the transfer in his 2025 budget moving the $16,000 from building and structures to contractual services.
