The North Salem State Bank (NSSB) announced that Jeff Joyce, Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed to NSSB’s Board of Directors effective January 1..
Jeff has more than 20 years of leadership experience in community banking and financial services. Since joining North Salem State Bank as Chief Financial Officer, he has played a key role in strengthening the bank’s financial performance, strategic planning and long-term growth.

Prior to joining North Salem State Bank, Jeff served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Elements Financial Federal Credit Union in Indianapolis. He was also a founding member of Heartland Community Bank, established in 1997, serving individuals and businesses in Johnson County, Indiana, where he served as Chief Financial Officer for 15 years. Earlier in his career, Jeff worked in public accounting, auditing and consulting with financial institutions at Crowe, and later co-founded Cross Financial Services in 2012, providing investment advisory and outsourced CFO services.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University Bloomington and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Series 65 securities license.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Jeff is actively involved in the community. He currently serves on the boards of DREAM Alive and United Way of Johnson County and supports several other nonprofit organizations, including the Johnson County Community Foundation, Central Indiana Police Foundation, and Crossway Bible Church in Franklin, Indiana.
