The new Pearl Centre was formally unveiled Wednesday in downtown Lawrenceville.
It is located at 1001 State Street in the former home of the Albright Motor Company auto dealership. The building was obtained by local businesswoman Jan Loeb and has undergone 1 1/2 years of renovation work inside and out.
The new venue will be the home for the Lawrence County Arts Council and has already hosted productions by that group. It will also be available for rental for multiple uses such as weddings, parties, special events and other individual or group activities. The theatre itself will accommodate 150 people with additional space available throughout the building, depending on the size of the event.
