Marshall County Sheriff Matt Hassel announced Thursday morning that the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department has achieved the silver-level recognition for 2023 as part of the Lexipol Connect Customer Recognition Program. The Lexipol Connect Recognition Program recognizes public safety agencies that excel in managing policies and online training. The program helps customers understand key metrics that contribute to effective policy and training management. Lexipol tracks departments' performance on metrics such as policy management, policy and policy training, community safety, and national best practices.
Sheriff Hassel said, “High-quality training is a top priority for our agency, and we are honored and excited to be recognized for our continued commitment to serving our community.” He went on to say, “This recognition would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our dispatchers and correctional officers. Their dedication to service and commitment to our community is commendable.”
This is the second highest level of recognition currently offered by Lexipol.
Sheriff Hassel wanted to publicly thank his staff for their hard work and dedication to making the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department an exemplary agency. He also noted that a plaque from Lexipol to commemorate this achievement will be displayed at the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.
