Residents of Lawrence County will soon have a way to dispose of unwanted electronics and batteries. Toyota Boshuku Illinois will host a collection on Saturday May 4th at its plant located on 100 Trimmasters Drive east of Lawrenceville from 7 a.m. until 12 p.m. CT. Items will be collected in the front parking lot near the flag poles. Items that will be taken include flat screen TVs (no CRT TVs), computers, phones, laptops, printers, keyboards, gaming consoles, DVD players and others. Various types of batteries will also be taken along with smaller batteries that are not lead-acid. The event is open only to residents of Lawrence County.
