Starting today, Wednesday, May 14th, or after, Phend & Brown will change the traffic pattern on U.S. 31 over the Elkhart Western Railroad, south of 13th Road near Plymouth.
Southbound traffic will switch to the new southbound side in the outside lane. Northbound traffic will remain in the northbound outside lane. Work will continue in both the southbound and northbound lanes.
There may be periods when southbound traffic switches back to the northbound inside lane, but the concrete dividing barrier will remain in place during these periods.
All work is anticipated to be completed, and all lanes will be open to unrestricted traffic the week after the Memorial Day holiday.
