The Lawrence-Allison Fire Protection District (LAFPD) has released its monthly activity report for the month of May 2025.
Statistics issued by fire chief Bill Powell indicates that the department dealt with two structure fires, one field/brush fire, two auto accidents, and one natural gas leak. They also assisted the Lawrence County Ambulance Service one time. The LAFPD also hosted other local firefighting agencies for a session of training on high intensity fires during the month.
