The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety got into the Halloween spirit Monday evening, October 12, passing a "Haunting Resolution" that officially establishes the date and time for trick-or-treating in the City of Plymouth for 2026.
The resolution declares that Halloween in 2026 falls on "the eerily perfect night of Saturday, October 31" — All Hallows' Eve itself — and sets the official trick-or-treating hours from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Residents wishing to welcome trick-or-treaters are encouraged to illuminate their porches to signal that sugary treasures await. The city invites all residents to embrace the spirit of the season, celebrate responsibly, and enjoy a night filled with laughter, imagination, and "just the right amount of spooky delight."
So grab your costumes, fire up the jack-o'-lanterns, and get ready for a night of spooky fun on the eerily perfect night of the year.
