Lawrence County (Ill.) County Clerk and Election Authority Will Gibson says that early voting is currently open for the upcoming November 3rd, 2026, General Election across the state of Illinois.
Those registered voters in Lawrence County who wish to cast their ballots prior to Election Day can do so by visiting the County Clerk's Office located in the Lawrence County Courthouse at 1100 State Street in downtown Lawrenceville.
The clerk's office will be open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. for early voting and continue to and through Monday, November 2nd at that location. On Saturday, October 31st, the office will be open to conduct early voting from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. The courthouse will not be open on Monday, October 12th due to the Columbus Day holiday.
