Join the downtown Plymouth merchants as they kick off summer with a block party Thursday night from 5 to 8 p.m.
Michigan Street will be closed from LaPorte to Washington Street and there will be food trucks on the street serving a variety of items for your supper and if you just want a snack. Several of the downtown businesses will also have food items for you to choose from.
The downtown merchants have hired the local band, Bottoms Up who will be bringing more fun to the event with some great music. They are a fun party band featuring Rock, Classic Rock, Pop Rock, and Country Rock favorites. Bring your lawn chair down and spend an hour or two.
The evening also includes kid-friendly activities, face painting, a dancing performance by Core Dance Centre, and a taekwondo demonstration by Integrity Academy of Martial Arts.
Many of the downtown merchants will be open late and have specials for the Summer Kick-Off. Some might even have sale racks out on the sidewalk.
The Downtown Summer Kick-Off Block Party is from 5 to 8 p.m. on June 27th. Come down and join the fun!
