The Indiana Department of Conservation and the Knox County Coroners Office have released additional information on the female juvenile who apparently drowned Thursday in the Wabash River at Vincennes. The body was identified as that of 5 year old Mila Hollingsworth. She was reported missing while playing in the water at Kimmell Park. Her body was recovered about 5 hours later by divers near the park boat ramp. Autopsy results on the exact cause of death remain pending. Authorities after initial investigation did arrest 26 year old Deonna Hollingsworth on a preliminary charge of Neglect of a Dependent Resulting in Death. The investigation remains ongoing.
