Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Calumet Civil Contractors, Inc. is scheduled to begin a pipe and culvert replacement project on State Road 3 in Greensburg on or after Monday, June 1.
The project will take place on S.R. 3 between U.S. 421 and the Central Railroad of Indiana railroad crossing located just west of U.S. 421. During the project, single-lane closures and lane shifts will be used on northbound and southbound S.R. 3.
Work at this location is expected to be complete in late July, weather permitting.
An additional pipe and culvert replacement project will take place on S.R. 3 in Decatur County following this project. INDOT will provide additional schedule information at a later date via INDOT News, Facebook, and X.
This project is part of a $2.2 million contract awarded to Calumet in September 2025.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
