A deputy with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department stopped a vehicle on U.S. 30 early Monday morning and ended up arresting two individuals for obstruction of justice, possession of marijuana, and paraphernalia.
At approximately 1:00 A.M., Deputy Truty stopped a vehicle on U.S. 31 near 18th Road in Argos for a moving violation. During his investigation, marijuana was in the vehicle.
Officer Truty discovered that the driver, Isaac E Grabbe, 25, from Lizton, IN, was a Habitual Traffic Violator. He was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail for being a habitual violator, obstruction of justice, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
A passenger in the vehicle, Alexia R Burchfield, 22, from Plainfield, was also booked into the county jail for obstruction of justice, possession of marijuana, and paraphernalia.

They were both held on $1500 cash bonds.

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
