Members of the Marshall County Council conducted a special 8-minute meeting Monday morning to handle year-end additionals and transfers.
The Medical Benefits Self-Insurance Fund sought three additional appropriations, $400,0000 to Auxiant Weekly, $55,000 to the Samaritian Fund, and $5,000 for the Auxiant True RX Weekly fund, for a total $460,000.
The second additional appropriation approved was for the Historical Society. They were granted an $1,000 additional into the wages clerical line of the 2025 budget.
Several transfers were approved during the County Council meeting on Monday. The Sheriff’s General Fund transferred $647 from wages overtime to wages Detective 1st Sgt., $23 from wages overtime to wages Detective Stg., $173from wages overtime to wages line sergeants, and $5,501 from wages overtime to wages patrol officers.
The Council was granted a $6,000 transfer from other projects to legal services, while the Plan Commission was approved to transfer $420 from the wages department head to vehicle repair. $30,000 was transferred from wages, turnkey/dispatchers, in the LIT Special Purchase Fund
Seven transfers were approved in the Motor Vehicle Highway (MVH) Fund, $26,000 from wages area leaders to wages heavy equipment operators, $7,389.26 from contractual services to office equipment, $1,890.44 from other operating supplies to office equipment, $5,704.86 from paint to subcontractor services, $30,003.43 from wages mechanic to subcontractor services, $20,000 from truck and tractor repair to vehicle main supplies and $30,486 from employee PERF to group health insurance.
The Council approved a transfer in the MVH Restricted Fund of $8,015.80 from pain to subcontractor services, a transfer from the Auditor’s Ineligible Deduction Fund of $2,800 from office supplies to contractual services, and a $6,300 transfer from Auxiant True RX Weekly to stop loss premium in the medical benefits self-employed insurance fund.
