Bowen Health has named six people to new management positions.
Of these six individuals, five are new to Bowen Health, but not to the communities they will serve.
These new positions include Practice Administrators who are responsible for the oversight of employees and operations at their Bowen Health location and Directors of Community Engagement who serve as county-wide ambassadors for the organization, identifying community partners and underserved populations while developing initiatives to improve their access to healthcare.
Kari Adams, Practice Administrator - Wabash
Adams has experience building strong teams and fostering collaboration. Hired in 2018 as a Skills Coach, she has served Bowen Health as an assistant director and director for the last 7 years, demonstrating her leadership abilities and showing great personal and professional growth.
Kristi Cooper, Practice Administrator – Plymouth
Cooper has extensive practice management experience in primary care, psychiatry, and neuropsychology. She has a proven track record of success in front-end process improvement reducing wait lists and increasing appointment volume. She achieved these results while fostering strong relationships and promoting excellence in practice operations.
Kristin Dohrman, Practice Administrator – Huntington
Dohrman has extensive operational expertise in both primary care and specialty services. She has also had oversight of Revenue Cycle and Registration processes. A collaborative leader who drives patient access improvements, she is dedicated to team support, quality care, patient safety, and staff development.
Leslie Blakley, Director of Community Engagement - Whitley County
Blakley has an extensive background in mission-driven work, having worked with various community organizations and initiatives over the past several years. In previous roles, she has demonstrated exceptional skills in leadership and a commitment to community engagement which aligns perfectly with Bowen Health’s mission and values.
Christina Blaskie, Director of Community Engagement - Steuben and LaGrange counties
With 27 years of experience in Northeast Indiana, Blaskie joins Bowen Health with a deep understanding of the healthcare needs in those communities. She has shown her dedication to improving patient outcomes in Steuben and LaGrange counties, combining her problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Tim Swager, Director of Community Engagement - Noble and DeKalb counties
Swager brings a deep passion for healthcare and a wealth of experience advocating on Capitol Hill to Noble and DeKalb County. He is committed to making a difference through a hands-on approach to leadership, engaging with local stakeholders, organizing community events, and advocating for patient needs.
