Jail Bookings
The following people were recently booked at the Fulton County Jail:
• Joseph B. Childs, 51, Macy, was arrested Thursday on a preliminary charge of driving while intoxicated after allegedly crashing into a utility pole near South Mud Lake. He was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at county roads 700 South and 200 East and held without bond.

• Calvin E. Hickey, 20, Bremen, was arrested Thursday on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on an original charge of nonsupport of a dependent. He was taken into custody at the jail and held without bond.

• Rebecca A. Maddox, 50, Berrien, Mich., was arrested Thursday on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on an original charge of driving while suspended with a prior. She was picked up at the St. Joseph County Jail and held on a $150 cash bond.

• William A. Meeks, 49, Knox, was arrested Thursday on a warrant charging him with probation revocation on an original charge of aggravated battery. He was picked up at the Starke County Jail and held without bond.

• Courtney D. Sanders, 22, Indianapolis, was arrested Thursday on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on an original charge of driving while suspended. She was picked up at the Hamilton County Jail and held on a $150 cash bond.

Jail Incidents
Wrecks
• At 10:01 a.m. Thursday, police received a report of a minor vehicle collision in the parking lot of Woodlawn Health, 1400 E. Ninth St.
• A vehicle driven by Mackenzie Ellis, 28, of Rochester, left the roadway and hit a fence at approximately 10:40 a.m. Thursday along Monticello Road.
• A plow truck driven by Bruce Wiard, 51, of Rochester, hit a vehicle, damaging its mirror, at approximately 1:40 p.m. Thursday at Country Meadows, 929 Monarch Lane.
• A vehicle driven by Ryan Hurlburt, 32, of Winamac, slid off the roadway and hit a vehicle driven by Emily Fishburn, 28, of Argos, around 3 p.m. Thursday near 5319 N. Old U.S. 31.
• At 5:42 p.m. Thursday, police received a report of a Ford F-150 in a ditch at U.S. 31 and 18th Street. The driver stated he blew a tire.
Slide-off
• Shortly before 1 p.m. Thursday, police received a report that a Jeep slid off the roadway at U.S. 31 and County Road 450 North. An electric company was subsequently contacted, as the vehicle had struck a guidewire.
Reckless
• At 3:42 p.m. Thursday, police received a report of a reckless driver in a white van at U.S. 31 and County Road 400 South. They were reportedly traveling in the center of the road and almost went off at one point.
Man stuck
• At 10:36 p.m. Thursday, police received a report that a man was stuck in a crawl space at a residence on the east side of Nyona Lake. Macy firefighters were able to free him.
