Jail Bookings
The following person was recently booked at the Fulton County Jail:
• Xavier E. Witt, 32, South Bend, was arrested Monday on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on an original charge of nonsupport of a dependent. He was held on a $390 cash bond.

Police Incidents
Hang-up call
• At 9:15 a.m. Monday, dispatch received a hang-up call from AT&T, 2020 Main St., Rochester. An employee of the store advised he had pulled a demo phone out of its box and it started calling 911.
Animal call
• At 11:54 a.m. Monday, police received a report that two dogs were running loose again in the Athens area. Upon an officer's arrival, the dogs were found to be inside, and the owners reportedly refused to come to the door. A citation was to be issued, as there was photo and video evidence of the dogs roaming onto another's property.
Wrecks
• A vehicle driven by Cruz Jimenez Ramos, 42, of Rochester, wrecked at approximately 3:40 p.m. Monday at State Road 14 and County Road 100 West. An initial report indicates the vehicle left the roadway and was smoking. Ramos refused medics, requested a tow and was cited with driving when never licensed.
• A vehicle driven by Richard Titus, 67, of Logansport, reported hitting two deer around 6:30 p.m. Monday in the area of State Road 25 and County Road 400 North in Rochester.
• A vehicle driven by Desiree Griffith, 41, of Rochester, wrecked shortly before 10 p.m. Monday at county roads 900 South and 300 West. Police records indicate that the vehicle came to a rest on its side and no injuries were reported.
• A vehicle driven by Kylee Fenstermaker, 38, of Rochester, hit a tree at approximately 4:44 a.m. Tuesday at county roads 650 North and 100 West. No injuries were reported, and the vehicle was drivable after the crash.
Suspicious
• At 5:12 p.m. Monday, police received a report that a man was pleasuring himself in a vehicle at Prairie Edge Nature Park, 1350 W. Third St., Rochester. A state trooper advised there was no one at the park and was unsuccessful in locating the vehicle in checking the area.
Property damage
At 7:23 p.m. Monday, police received a report that a mailbox was hit by a vehicle at 10474 W. 250 South, Kewanna. Drag marks were left in the yard as a result.
