Jail Bookings
The following people were recently booked at the Fulton County Jail:
• Jimmie Hunt, 57, South Bend, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on an original charge of driving without a license. He was picked up at the St. Joseph County Jail and held on a $100 cash bond.

• Rick A. Manns, 52, 610 S. State Road 14, Akron, was arrested Tuesday on a preliminary charge of domestic battery. He was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at home following a physical altercation with his daughter's boyfriend, who reportedly pinned him on the ground until officers arrived. He was found to be intoxicated and was held without bond.

• Derrick Yahya, 21, South Bend, was arrested Tuesday on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana, driving while intoxicated causing endangerment and reckless driving. He was taken into custody by sheriff's deputies at U.S. 31 and County Road 375 North and held without bond.
Police Incidents
Animal calls
• At 8 a.m. Tuesday, police received a report that a cow was out loose in the area of State Road 110 and County Road 500 West. Its owner was later issued a citation.
• Shortly after 11 a.m. Tuesday, a Kewanna woman claimed that a neighbor drove up behind her and another person, as if was going to run them over, and made threats after her dog went into his yard. An officer advised her that she additionally needed to speak with animal control.
Safety concern
• At 10:22 a.m. Tuesday, police received a report about a stop sign down at State Road 17 and County Road 100 North in Kewanna. The state highway department was subsequently notified.
Civil issue
• At 12:26 p.m. Tuesday, a woman reported that a man kicked in her door at Rochester Motel, 2147 Southway 31. She further advised that he has been staying there for more than a month and she tried kicking him out on Monday. The incident was determined to be civil in nature, between them and the motel.
Harassment
• Shortly before 2 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report that two people were threatening to harm a male juvenile. Parties involved were reportedly connected through Snapchat, but did not personally know one another.
Wreck
• At 3:29 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report that a vehicle struck a brick planter in front of the Fulton County Wellness Center, 529 Main St.
Burglary
• At 6:46 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report that a house at 5399 Wabash St. was burglarized two days earlier. Suspects reportedly stole a footlocker, a few bicycles, boxes with unknown contents from the garage and a security camera. A fire extinguisher also was used around the house.
Complaints
• At 7:02 p.m. Tuesday, police received complaints about noise and possible marijuana use by tenants of apartments in the 500 block of Mitchell Drive.
Theft
• Shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday, police received a report that a woman stole a pair of Adidas shoes from Shoe Show, 2066 Peace Tree Village. She was reportedly with a man, traveling in a gray Chevrolet Silverado, and left her old shoes behind. Police records indicate that store employees did not want to pursue charges, but requested they be issued no trespassing warnings if located.
