Blue River Community Foundation will host two summer scholarship workshops for Shelby County high school students on track to graduate by June of 2025.
Students attending the workshop will learn about scholarship opportunities available through the foundation including the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship.
In addition, participants will be presented with how to apply through BRCF’s online application process, writing an expansive essay, selecting recommenders, interviewing tips, and hearing suggestions about the transition from high school to college from members of the BRCF’s Alumni Scholar Alliance.
Interested students are encouraged to select one of the following dates to attend:
June 20 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. July 11 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
