The St. Francisville City Council took action on the 2025 annual tax levy.
They unanimously voted in the levy amount of approximately $55,770. There was no increase from the previous year of 2024.
The council did vote to pay $71,100 still owed to one of the contractors of the EPA lead line replacement project. The city will be reimbursed some of that cost owed by the state of Illinois.
Two bids were opened in regard to the planned city water tower maintenance project. After some discussion, it was decided to take the bids under advisement for further study and review and totable any action until January.
