A Logansport man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison this week after pleading guilty to dealing meth.
According to a press release Thursday by Cass County Prosecutor Noah Schafer, Branden L. Lincoln, 28, of Logansport was sentenced to 25 years in the Indiana State Department of Correction for Dealing in Methamphetamine, a Level 2 Felony.
The sentence followed Lincoln’s entry of a guilty plea on Aug. 28. Lincoln also pleaded guilty to being an habitual offender, having prior felony convictions for burglary and resisting law enforcement with a vehicle.
Court documents show Lincoln was arrested in September 2024 after he was caught dealing methamphetamine at his residence during two undercover buys, caught on camera, that was arranged by the Cass County Drug Task Force. Lincoln's residence where the drug dealing occurred was also located 500 feet from Logansport Learning Academy.
The prosecutor also noted an unrelated case involving the defendant's sister, Kayla Lincoln, who was sentenced just two weeks ago to 28 years in prison for dealing fentanyl that killed a Logansport man.
