The Lawrenceville Indians used strong pitching and two homers on the day to shut out OPH 9-0 at Hutsonville Wednesday. Starter Jack Patterson went 4 scoreless innings allowing 5 hits with 1 strikeout and 1 walk and was followed up by Boston Gray who went 3 scoreless and allowed just a hit with 1 strikeout and 0 walks. Neilan Bickers hit his first career homer in the first and Emery Ivers also went deep with his first career homer, a three run blast, in the fifth. Patterson also helped his own cause with 2 hits and Eli Vennard added 2 hits. With the win, the Indians improve to 3-1-1 on the season and are idle until Monday at Edwards County.
