The Parkview Track and Field Braves were among the 9 schools participating in the Little Eastern Illinois Conference (LEIC) boys and girls meet held Saturday at Paris (Mayo).
The 7th grade girls finished 2nd in the team standings and were led by Sierra Ivers (1st in the 200m) and Neko Bickers (1st in the 100 hurdles).
The 8th grade girls were 5th and the 7th grade boys were 6th in both of their meets.
The 8th grade boys finished 5th with Derek Rodriguez capturing the 200-meter dash.
Both the 7th and 8th grade girls 4x400 meter relay teams set records in their events.
The squad will wrap up the regular season with Eighth Grade Day Thursday when they host a triangular with Red Hill and Hutsonville-Palestine at 4 p.m. at Ed Loeb Field in Lawrenceville.
