LJH loses to Edgewood
The Lincoln Jr. High 7th and 8th grade girls track teams now have a 3-1 season record after losing to Edgewood Tuesday evening. Highlight performances from LJH included Lucy Keirn and Megan Crum in both hurdle events. Lucy placed third in the 110 low hurdles and second in the 200 m hurdles. Megan Crum had a personal record in the low hurdles. Another strong performance in the 800m run was Tessa Hutchinson setting a personal best and placing third with a time of 2:55. For the 8th grade team, Aumrie Weiss, also had a season best in the 200m hurdles placing second overall with a time of 33.1. Summer South took first place in the long jump. The Red Storm will be back on the track Wednesday against LaVille and Triton. Red Storm Relays are this Saturday at 9:30 am.
