Last night the Lady Pilgrims track team traveled to Northwood's Andrew Field to compete in their final double dual meet of the season. The team beat Goshen 101-31 and was beat by Northwood 73.33 - 58.66. On the night, top performers were: Alana Allen (1st: 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay), Jersey Hunter (1st: 100m hurdles, 4x100m relay, High Jump), Arielle Ferman (1st: Pole Vault, 4x100m relay), Kylee Gaines (1st: Discus and Shot Put), Sophie Wray (1st: 1600m), Lauren Gurtner (3rd: 400m, HJ), Elli Schaller (2nd: Discus, Shot Put), Sonya Joseph (2nd: 300m hurdles), Bailey Edmiston (3rd: 3200m) and Payton Haines (3rd: 300m hurdles). Out due to illness/injury: Alexis Doll (both hurdles), Tessa Hutchinson (throws). Note: 100m times on the results are off due to the timer/starter starting the race while the flag was red (I have attached a screenshot the Direct Athletics update).
*4x100m relay team, Jersey Hunter (100m hurdles) and Sophie Wray (1600m) went undefeated in NLC duals during the regular season.
Top performer on the JV team was Bridget Messick in the Shot Put.
Next up for the team, they travel to compete in the Goshen Relays on Saturday. Field Events start at 9am, Running Events start at 10am.
