Quarterback Easton Dowty hit Brayden Carie with three touchdown passes Thursday night to help propel the Red Hill Salukis to a 35-6 win over the Edwards County Lions at Albion.
The Salukis jumped on top early and led 14-0 after one quarter, 21-6 at the half and 27-6 after three quarters enroute to the win. Levi Mccullough scored on a short run and defensive lineman Bowen Hixon returned a fumble for a touchdown to add to the Saluki scoring on the night.
With the victory, the Dawgs have won three in a row to improve to 3-2 overall and also in Black Diamond Conference (BDC) play. Edwards County drops to 1-4 overall and in the BDC.
The Salukis return home to host Christopher in the annual homecoming game scheduled for Saturday, September 26th at 1 p.m. in Bridgeport.
