The Red Hill Football Salukis are the 2024 Oilfield Trophy champions. They captured the annual game Saturday afternoon at Red Hill Junior/Senior High School in Bridgeport with a 23-7 win over the county rival Lawrenceville Indians. The win evened the Saluki record at 1-1 on the season and dropped the Indians to 0-2. The Salukis will stay at home this Saturday to host North Central (Farmersburg) Indiana while the Indians will look for their first victory on the road Friday when they visit Richland Co (Olney) to begin Little Illini Conference (LIC) play.
